For gourmet food lovers, The Paprika Restaurant at Phoenix Hotel is the right place to indulge fine cuisine in Yogyakarta. A variety of international, local and even fusion cuisine is served at the restaurant.

Paprika Restaurant

We decided to have our dinner at the hotel’s Paprika restaurant after few days of non stop gudeg.

Starter : Duck Confit Spring Roll

Main – Succulent Double Lamb Cutlets served with Provençal vegetable, gratin potatoes and olive & mint sauce

Main : Herb Crushed Lamb Loin with Parmesan Risotto, Sautéed Mushroom Spinach & Cinnamon infused sauce

Main : Black Angus Tenderloin

Dessert : Phoenix Cajou Surprised

We truly enjoyed the food at Paprika Restaurant, tender & juicy meat, artfully designed dishes, splendid combination by the chefs. Definitely one of pleasant surprises in Yogyakarta.

The Phoenix Hotel Yogyakarta truly provides a warm hearted luxurious stay. We spent most of our time during our stay relaxing in the hotel unwilling to step out of the hotel till check out time. Luckily we did out sightseeing before checking in.

A very big thanks to Ms. Marlya the Public Relation Manager of Phoenix Hotel for her great hospitality and always there to accommodate our needs during our stay. Would definitely stay again in future.

  1. What are the odds! I also stayed in Phoenix Hotel last time I visited Yogyakarta a year ago. It was really nice indeed with a rather medium price. Although I read that there are even more budgeted hotel with decent room and facilities in Yogyakarta as the demand is inflated.
