Autumn Soul Day 5 – Busan – Taejongdae Resort Park

Taejongdae is a natural park of Busan, South Korea with magnificent cliffs facing the open sea on the southernmost tip of island of Yeongdo-gu.

From Busan Station, we took city bus 88 and get off at Taejongdae Park. The journey took about 45 mins.

The park is fairly big unless you have ample time to walk (about 2km) it would be better to buy a Danubi train ticket costing 1,500 won.

The park was named after the 29th king of Silla Dynasty BC57~AD 935), King TaeJong Mu-Yeol (604~661). King TaeJong had traveled to many places but this was the place he enjoyed shooting arrows.

Under the lighthouse of this resort is a rock called Sinseon Rock, named after the myth that gods and goddesses came down here to relax.

Below you can also eat freshly caught seafood while enjoying the sea breeze.
