From Yeomiji Botanical Garden it is just less than 5 minutes walk to Cheonjeyeon Falls & Seonimgyo Bridge, Jeju Island.

Entrance to Cheonjeyeon Falls & Seonimgyo Bridge cost KRW2,500 ( Approx RM7.50 / USD2.20 ).
Cheonjeyeon Falls (천제연폭포), named ‘The pond of God’, consists of 3 parts. Around the falls, a variety of plant life thrives, such as the rare ‘solipnan’ reeds.
To the east, there is a cave where cold water pours from the ceiling to create a waterfall. The water from the first waterfall becomes the second and third waterfalls and flows into the sea.

Seonimgyo Bridge is an arch bridge on Jeju Island over Cheonjeyeon Waterfall that has seven nymphs carved on both sides.
Seonimgyo Bridge
The bridge is also called Chilseonyeogyo (칠선녀교) or Seven Nymphs Bridge. The nymphs symbolize the Korean legend of the descent of seven beautiful nymphs from heaven at night.
Around the bridge, there are Cheonjeru, Korean traditional architecture style tower. On the surface of this huge Cheonjeru Tower you would find a painting portraying the legend of the nymphs and the mountain god that is associated with this waterfall of Jeju.
There is also an Obokcheon which is a combination of image of turtle, dragon, pig, mandarin duck, and carp is carved on.
Tourists may pray for lucks throwing a coin into the lucky bag-shaped sculpture in the middle of Obokcheon. These coins are donated to help poor people at the end of year.

The animals symbolize : Tortoise ( Longevity ), Boar ( Wealth ), Dragon ( Honour ), Mandarin Duck ( Romance, good for singles! ) and Carp ( Children, good for married, childless couples ).

You did not walked the paths to all the 3 waterfalls did you? :p I did… afterwards it feel as if my calf gonna explode. Pheeew! The first waterfall was dry, the second was ok, the third was so so.
