AirAsia has secretly extended the travel period of its RM499 Unlimited Pass until June 2021! The pass was launched in Feb 2020 exclusively for AirAsia Malaysia Big Members that allows unlimited flights to Australia, China, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan and India until Feb 2021.
COVID-19
The pass was launched in Feb 2021 before the announcement of COVID-19 pandemic which caused AirAsia into total hibernation thus stopping all flights from 18 March to 30 April 2020. AirAsiaX has yet to resume their flights as of 12 May 2020.
Extended Period – June 2021
Following the pleas from many of the unlimited pass holders, Group CEO Tony Fernandes has graciously hinted the extension of the travel period.
