3. Getting Around Shanghai

Getting arround Shanghai is relative cheap with their subway. One way ticket from Pudong International Airport to East Nanjing Road Station is just RMB7 (RM4.50) only.

Average subway price per trip is approx RMB4 or RMB5 while taxi ride is also quite affordable especially if you have more than 2 pax.

4. Attractions

No doubt the latest attraction for Shanghai is definitely Shanghai Disneyland! Avoid going on weekends and China public holidays. We went on a non peak Monday and with not much crowd allowing us to enjoy the park better.

Note: You can buy your Disneyland ticket on the spot but do arrive earlier to avoid long queues.

Eating in Shanghai is comparable to a meal in KL or slight higher averaging RM15 to RM30 a meal. So we will budget RM20 per meal as average.

  1. Oh, the hotel you stay looks very nice. Can you tell me which one is among two options you’ve mentioned above? One thing I’m afraid is the transportation in Shanghai by metro system. Is this easy for foreigners without knowing Chinese to use? I can do it easily when I’m in Osaka. Thanks so much for the great post!
