The Devesa Argentinian Beef is recognized for its overwhelming and succulent flavours. The ranch produces the finest breed of cattle from the Argentinian Pampas Region since 1840. At the World Steak Challenge 2019, Devesa won the silver award for the quality of its grain-fed rib-eye steak.

This is the very first time in a decade that a Halal-certified beef from Argentina is available in Malaysia ever since beef distribution from Argentina was halted in 2010 due to strict Halal regulations.

120 Days Grain Fed Bavette & Ribeye

Bavette is the French term for flank steak. The part is a highly flavourful, loosely textured flat cut of meat sourced from the abdominal muscles of the cow.

Among all the cuts, Bavette was our favourite, tender in texture, dense in flavour with great marbling. It caught us by surprise as its flavour is more prominent than the ribeye.

The perfect way to prepare tender Bavette steak is to sear both sides on a high-temperature grill and cook till medium-rare. This cut is definitely not suitable for well-done (technically, all prime steaks should not be above medium).

Matambre – 340g/ RM180 nett

Matambre is very popular and highly sought after a thin cut of beef in Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay. The meat is taken from between the skin and the ribs, similar to a flank steak. Matambre is also known as ‘Suadero’ in some Latin American countries.

The chef marinates the meat in milk for 24 hours to break down the fibre and tenderise the meat before slow roast the meat.
